Horace Mann Middle School is a school for underprivileged students in the San Diego area. A class was hosted to teach students about 3D printing which is a hands-on way of learning engineering concepts. First they were introduced through a video and later an in-person workshop. Students were taught to modeling tools and design basics to create customized keychains as a their first product. This learning enabled students to design their own creations and use the 3D printers available at the school.
